A Concept Cat

JFA Yachts is alert to the new trends in the yachting market but is also responsive to industrial design in a wider sense. This year JFA Yachts approached PEUGEOT DESIGN LAB to develop a 115′ power catamaran which will be 35m LOA with a beam of 14.5m.  JFA Yachts, confident in its experience in the multihull market, feels that there is a need to propose a new type of Power Cat that is innovative and outstanding.

Compared to conventional monohull motor yachts, catamarans offer large volumes (interior and exterior) combined with stability (no need for stabilizers) low draft and reduced fuel consumption.

In keeping with this PEUGEOT DESIGN LAB has drawn up a power cat project with a sporty look dedicated to exploring uncharted waters. This yacht offers wide windowed spaces including a glass roof on the upper deck, and vast luminous views from the side and towards the stern on the main deck. The transom is spacious and provides easy, secure access to the water.  A large 6.5m annex specifically designed for this project will be perfectly integrated into a protected garage between the two hulls

This project is still in its conceptual stage but detailed specifications will be drawn up as soon as the potential client gives the word.
